Painting with a Purpose – Fish

On November 9, Painting with a Twist hosted Painting with a Purpose benefiting Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals in Southeast Texas. The class, led by Brittney Drinkard, painted a whimsical, colorful fish. This painting was chosen to match the theme of St. Elizabeth Hospital’s kid-friendly pediatric unit. At the end of the evening, guests were given the opportunity to donate their finished paintings to their local CMN Hospital, CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth. Donated paintings will be hung in the pediatric unit to add an extra touch of color and whimsy that will bring joy to an otherwise stressful environment.

Everyone who attended was entered to win a Vera Bradley Laptop Messenger Bag or a Carrabba’s gift certificate. Congratulations to Rachel Conley for winning the Vera Bradley bag and to Xuan Pham for winning the Carrabba’s gift certificate! Thank you to everyone who joined us at Painting with a Twist to help us Paint with a Purpose and raise money for our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Without you, we wouldn’t be able to provided the specialized care and life-saving medical equipment needed to treat the kids of Southeast Texas.
